How does the personalization work?

You send us one clear photo of your child and their first name. We paint your child as a watercolour character and place them in every illustration of the story, from the first page to the last. Their name also appears on the cover and throughout the book.

Will the character really look like my child?

Yes. The character is painted from your photo: hair, skin tone and the little details that make your child recognisable. It is a true watercolour character, painted into the scenery, not a photo pasted onto a page.

Can I see the book before it is printed?

Always. You receive a free preview of your personalized book and nothing goes to print until you approve it. If something looks off, tell us and we will adjust it at no cost.

How long does it take?

Your preview is usually ready within one business day. Once you approve it, printing and dispatch take 3 to 5 business days, then delivery time depends on your country. Each book is printed on demand, just for your child.

What age is the book made for?

Our stories are written for children aged 2 to 6. Short sentences, direct dialogue and little refrains make them perfect for reading aloud together, and for early readers to grow into.

Which formats are available?

Our books come in a premium square format, in softcover and hardcover editions, printed on thick quality paper that survives little hands and hundreds of bedtime readings.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Yes, free of charge at any moment before your book goes to print. After you approve the preview and printing starts, the book is made uniquely for your child and can no longer be changed or cancelled.

What if my book arrives damaged?

Send us a photo at contact@mionne.com within 30 days of delivery. We will send you a free replacement or a full refund, whichever you prefer.

Can I return the book if I change my mind?

Because each book is personalized and made for one specific child, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns. That is exactly why you approve a preview before anything is printed. Your legal rights for damaged or defective items are of course unaffected.
